Here are the answers to just a few frequently asked questions we receive here at Mount Caburn Campsite
- Can I make a booking over the phone?
Yes we accept bookings over the phone. If you would like to make a reservation then please call 07956118131
- Do you allow dogs?
Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept under control and must remain on a lead. You must also ensure that your dogs’ mess is cleaned up.
- Do you allow campervans or caravans?
We are happy to accept small campervans (VW type size – no motorhomes or caravans) but we don’t have any electric hook up available.
- Can we park next to the pitch?
As we are a working stud farm, parking is only permitted in the designated areas outside of the campsite in order to protect the ground. There is one car parking space provided per pitch.
- Do you accept groups?
Yes if you would like to reserve multiple pitches in one booking then please contact us here or phone 07956118131.
- Do you accept hen or stag parties?
Unfortunately due to the peaceful nature of our site we are unable to accept bookings from hen or stag parties.
- Is it possible to hire out the whole campsite?
No, we do not offer the facility to hire out the whole campsite, but you can reserve multiple pitches
- Do you have a minimum stay policy?
During weekends and school holidays there is a minimum two night stay.
- What time can we arrive on-site?
We welcome new arrivals from 1pm-7pm. We cannot accept check in after 7pm unless specially requested.
- Do you allow music?
We allow unplugged or acoustic music, but out of respect to other campers we do not allow amplified music. All music must stop by 11pm.
- What time do we need to leave the site?
We ask all campers to leave by 11.00am.
- How much does a pitch cost?
The basic pith fee is £10 per adult per night.
